- Currently, the Super Pit is approximately 3.5km long, 1.5km wide and more than 440m deep.
- The Super Pit produces up to 850,000 ounces of gold every year and its operation far outweighs any other mining centre in Australia.
- Each year Kalgoorlie contributes to a significant amount of the world’s total gold production and helps Australia to be the 3rd largest Gold producer in the world, behind South Africa and the Unites States.
- The public lookout is open from 7:00am to 9:00pm daily.
