Geraldton

- Geraldton is the capital of Western Australia's Mid West region and the gateway to the amazing Abrolhos Islands.
 
- 424km north of Perth, the beautiful leisurely drive can now be enjoyed up the coast along the Indian Ocean Drive.

RAAF Base Pearce, Western Australia

 - RAAF Base Pearce located in Bullsbrook, 42.5km north of Perth. It is used for training by the RAAF and the Republic of Singapore Air Force.

- Pearce is the busiest RAAF base in the country in terms of total aircraft movements, including civil movements at the Joint User bases. Although its primary role is pilot training, it remains the only permanent Air Force base on the west coast, and thus has a significant logistics role.

- RAAF Base Pearce was officially granted "station" status on 6 February 1939.

-  It was named in honour of Sir George Pearce, a long-standing Senator from Western Australia.

- Pearce was elected to the inaugural Senate in 1901 and remained a Senator for Western Australia until 1938.

London Court, Perth

- Built in 1937 as a combination of residential and commercial premises for a wealthy gold miner and financier Claude de Bernales, Perth's London Court is designed using the architectural features present in Elizabethan times.

- London Court attracts local and international visitors with its friendly, inviting atmosphere and unique architectural style making it superbly different to the sky scrapers it is nestled under in the City of Perth.

  

- The only walk in the world outside Britain that has captured a setting and atmosphere so similar to that of Tudor England, London Court is a retail walkway running between Hay Street Mall and St Georges Terrace in the heart of Perth.

 

 

 

Katanning

- Katanning is located about 290 km south of Perth and 170 km north of Albany.

- Its economic strengths are in agriculture and the largest sheep salesyard in the Southern hemisphere.

- The meat and livestock industry is the second largest argricultural contributor to WA and Katanning features one of four recognised salesyard.

- Katanning has a relatively large Muslim population.
